Det började med bil söderut till Frankrike med mycket bad och sol, och norrut till Skåne med mindre sol men med mycket besök och till sist ännu norrut till Stockholm där tidig höst väntar. Glöm inte att jag blev dubbelfarfar den 27/7. 

Starting off southbound to France, for bathing and sunshine, going on northbound again with less sunshine but lots of friends and friendship, and at last further north to Stockholm, waiting for the autumn to come.  Do not forget me becoming  grandad twice July 27th.

NEWS

Yvonne födde två mycket sköna gossar på cirka 2.4 kg vardera. Alla mår bra. Jag som farfar är mycket glad, liksom både fadern Klas och storasystern Enya. Vid dags dato finns det ännu inga namn för de två gossarna. Bilden till vänster är tagen direkt vid födelsen medan bilderna nedan är tagna en vecka senare.

Yvonne gave birth of two very handsome boys of 2.4 kg each. They are both well.  Me, as being granddad, is very happy, as well as their father Klas and their sister Enya. No names at the moment for the two boys are given. The picture on the left is taken at the birth while the two pics below are taken a week later

Jun 27-Jul 10

Tillbaka till Frankrike med min nya Citroenbil (Berlingo), i snabb takt, nattsömn i Skåne och i Tyskland, och tillsammans med Malva och Freja. Solen lyste som vanligt, aprikoserna är färdiga och de första vindruvorna börjar bli ätbara om några veckor.  

Back to France with my new Citroen, with two nights in Scania and in Germany, accompanying Malva and Freja. Sunshine is there, apricots are ready and the first grapes begin to be edible within a few weeks.

Freja och Malva bytte hår i olika färger, gör teater för oss. Nedan tränar dom i att göra "major".  Freja and Malva changed hair colours, made theatre to us, making wry faces in their theatre training maybe.

Det blev mycket underhållande för oss gamlingar. Vi gick på marknaden i Clermont tillsammans och framför allt badade 

Much entertainment for us "oldies". We went to the market in Clermont together and above all bathed a lot

Vi badade och badade mer, i havet, i floder, i sjön och i bassängen  We bathed and bathed again, in the sea, in the river, in the lake and in the pool

Ovan till vänster vid Petit Traverse-stranden, precis ovan i Herault-floden,  nedan i Salagou-sjön, i bassängen vatten från Soulondre-ån, nedan till vänster i Vis-floden, och längst nedan vid Sete-stranden Above left at the beach of Petit Traverse, above on top in the Herault River, below in Lake Salagou, to the left in the water from the Soulondre Stream in the  pool, below to the left in the River Vis and right below at the beach of Sete.

Anders och Ulla m.fl.  kom farande med hyrd båt just på min födelsedag och bjöd oss längs Canal de Midi. Slussning ingår. Dom hälsade på oss och det blev gamman, med besök på restaurant, och många trevliga samtal. Anders and Ulla a.o. came by boat just in time for my birthday, inviting us for a voyage along the Canal de Midi. Lots och locks were included.  They visited us in our home. Plenty of food and fun, and visits to restaurant.

Vad kul det var att träffa Olivier i Montpellier, här väntandes maten. Lite trött blir man av att vandra, gå in och ut genom affärer och att köpa nåt som inte är för dyrt.  We met Olivier in Montpellier, we had fun, below in wait for the food to come. A bit tired it was after walking and goin out and in through boutiques, trying to buy something not to expensive. 

Jul 09-10

Vi var tvungna att åka hemåt, via den fantastiska nya Millau-bron. Visserligen ser man inte hur fantastisk den är, när det regnade för första gången. Kom ihåg att pelarna är lika höga från marken som Eifel-tornet. Vi kom fram till Mats och Ninni där det vankades fantastisk mat vid öppna spisen. Väldigt gott var t.ex. gåslever varvat med tunga, och löksylt.

We were forced to go home, via the fantastic Millau Bridge. It does not seem to be fantastic, raining for the first time as it is. Do remember that the pillars from ground to bridge are  as high as the Eifel Tower. We came at last to Mats and Ninni, having as much fantastic food at the open fire. Especially we had Fois Gras in layers of tounge, added onion jam to it.

Jul 11-31

Vi kom fram till Skåne med Malva och Freja. Kerstin var tvungen att flyga hem till Stockholm för en kortare sejour. Björn och Elisabeth finns naturligtvis där, badandes vid havet. Både Jenny-familjen och Anders-familjen kom för att hälsa på oss och också för att hämta sina flickor. Både luft och vatten var tillräckligt varmt för att bada, åtminstone till en början.  We returned at last to Scania with Malva and Freja accompanying us. Kerstin had to fly to Stockholm for a short sejour. Björn and Elisabeth were there of course, bathing at the coast. Both the Jenny family and the Anders family came to visit us and to bring their respective daughters home. Both air and water were enough warm to bathe, at least from the beginning.

Kusinerna träffades i Skåne, det blev kortspel och en massa annat. 

The cousins met in Scania, playing cards and lots of other "things".

Lisa och Patrik med  Frans kom och bodde hos Björn och Elisabeth, och besökte oss också 

Lisa and Patrik and above all, Frans, lived in the Björn-Elisabeth House, came to see us as well.

Det blev flera marknader i Skåne, och flera måltider dessutom. Liz och Dick hälsade på och bjöd oss på middag. Mycket kul och mycket skratt blev det.

We saw many markets traditional in Scania. Lots of fun together with Liz and Dick as usual, including of course Kerstin, Björn and Elisabeth.

Vi besökte Rune, med sonen Martin och vänner från England. Det blev "tabaré" på teaterladan alldeles nära intill. Fantastiskt uppträdande, bland annat  våra vänner från trakten som sjunger "barbershop" jättebra. 

We visited Rune not far away from us. Rune's son Martin about to move permanently in Scania was there and other friends from the UK  of course. We went to the theatre barn very close, the  "tabaré", theatrical cabaré, and it was wonderful performance, among others our friends nearby singing "barbershop" extremely well. 

Maj och Pål hälsade på tillsammans med" Röda Rebecca" om man får kalla henne. Det blev 50-talståg i restaurantvagn genom det vackra Österlen

Maj and Pål came together with their daughter "Rebecca Red" if  I may say so. Tourism through the landscape on the railway,taking lunch is not bad at all.

Jul 31

Så synd att behöva åka hem till Stockholm, men det börjar kännas att hösten är på gång. Vi hälsade på hos Maj och Pål i Mjölbytrakten där Maj har blivit "uppfödd" åtminstone på sommaren. Vackert och nästan inga mygg! 

It is pity to leave for Stockholm, but I feel the autumn to come soon. We met Maj and Pål again but further north where Maj spent her summers for many years I believe. Beautiful and almost no gnats at all!
